Shafa hosted Araz-Nakhchivan today in the 11th round of the Misli Premier League.
Fanat.az reports that the Baku side’s head coach Zaur Hashimov held a press conference after the match, which ended in a 2-2 draw. Hashimov described it as a fast-paced game:
“I congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on tomorrow’s Victory Day. May God rest the souls of our martyrs and grant our veterans good health. It was a fast-paced game. Once again, we created plenty of goalscoring chances. We conceded 2 goals through individual errors. Our progress is clear to see. I want to talk about the refereeing. Everything was plain to see in today’s game too. Every little decision went our opponents’ way. Let’s put it this way: I don’t want us to be treated like outsiders. Our lads work hard and fight too. We have been robbed of 4 points in our last two games.”
