English club Liverpool are preparing a €100 million bid to sign Real Madrid's star midfielder Federico Valverde.
Fanat.az reports, citing TEAMtalk, that the Merseysiders view the 28-year-old Uruguayan as a potential replacement for Alexis Mac Allister.
However, Real Madrid's hierarchy have stated that they have no intention of selling one of head coach José Mourinho's first-team regulars.
The Spanish giants are expected to do everything in their power to keep Valverde despite this record offer.
