Sabah player Aiden McCarthy has spoken about their upcoming match against Viking on Matchday 4 of the UEFA Champions League league phase.
Fanat.az reports that, speaking at the pre-match press conference, he said they would do everything they could to put in a good performance:
“Not just the defence, but the whole team must work as a unit and give their all. Every situation has a solution. I believe in my team-mates. We will do everything we can to put in a good performance.
They should be thinking about us just as much as we are thinking about them. As for my goal in the Champions League, it gave me even more confidence. Nothing comes easily. If I get another chance to score, I will do everything I can to take it. At the same time, we must also be solid defensively”.
The Viking–Sabah match will kick off at 00:00 Baku time on the night of 4–5 November.
