Shamakhi head coach Azar Bagirov commented on his side’s 2-2 draw with Sabah in matchweek 11 of the Misli Premier League.
Fanat.az reports that the coach said at the post-match press conference:
“Happy Victory Day to you all. I thank everyone who contributed to this day, especially Mr President. May Allah have mercy on our martyrs, and I wish our wounded veterans a full recovery. We knew Sabah were a strong team. We were playing against one of the best sides in our league. We had asked the players to fight. We saw a real battle on the pitch. We earned a point and could have taken more. I wish Sabah success.”
